Due to the continued growth of our client base using our world leading Alpha Capture Service for Trade Idea delivery and management we are now looking for a Client Services Analyst to join our team in the London office to focus on servicing customers in Europe, with additional special projects in North America and Asia Pacific.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing first line support and training for the TIM Ideas community, in person and by telephone and email. Some international travel is likely to be required
• Championing feature enhancements on behalf of the customers and working closely with the product development team
• Presenting and explaining complex financial reports and performance statistics to clients
• Identifying sales opportunities
• Identifying and rectifying possible / potential client issues
• Supporting other areas of TIM Group with reports / information as required (Marketing / Product Management / Business Analysis)

Essential attributes include:

• Demonstrable prior interest in the financial sector
• Highly Numerate
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to a wide and varied audience
• Tenacious in approach
• Proactive and self-managing
• Some MS Office skills; must have some experience in Excel
• Solid IT skills
• A strong academic background or equivalent experience

Desirable attributes include:

• Prior experience in the financial sector
• Previous commercial experience in client / technical support
• Previous experience support Saas (Software as a Service)

Our systems manage billion dollar portfolios, feed complex quantitative financial models, and fuel the sales and trading desks of the world's largest investment banks.  We give our teams the freedom to use the tools and languages that they need to solve the problems inherent in our systems. Our systems are written in Java, Javascript, Scala and Groovy / Grails, however we use and contribute to open source technologies such as Apache Tomcat, Hibernate, and MySQL.

We use agile development techniques and tools such as test-driven development, pair programming, and continuous integration, adapting these to our needs as necessary at regularly held retrospectives involving developers, operators, support staff, and senior product owners. We have an active research programme focused on improving and expanding our core technology. We expect our graduate programmers to develop rapidly, deploy new code regularly, test constantly, and help us continuously to improve our development processes. We keep our teams small and filled with smart people, who work interactively with our customers and with our internal business analysts.
