Key Roles:
We are always looking to recruit developers, business analysts and client and sales managers.
DEVELOPERS:
Developers at TIM Group develop and operate web-based applications for financial markets – specifically top-tier brokers, investment managers and the alternative investment sector. Our applications are dynamic and mathematically complex, and use mostly open-source technology. This enables us to develop reliable, scalable, secure applications quickly.
Our developers work closely with our customers and internal business analysts to ensure ongoing improvement of our core technology and on-time delivery of releases.
Passion for coding - We consider applicants with a wide range of skills and experience but one thing is essential: a passion for coding.
Unlike many software companies, we care about – and test! – whether you can write code in any programming language. We regularly hire awesome coders who don’t happen to know the languages or technologies we typically use, and help them to learn what they need to know to be effective developers.
Contributions to or experience with open-source tools is something we look for in developer applicants (but isn’t required). You should also have the academic credentials to back your CV up – typically a university degree in a numerate discipline (2:1 pass in the UK, or a GPA of 3.0 in the US).

BUSINESS ANALYSTS:
Business analysts at TIM Group apply a thorough understanding of financial markets and solid technical expertise to solving complex business challenges. Our analysts work with senior-level clients to develop requirement specifications for new applications and enhancements. As part of the team, you will be closely involved in designing new applications that create value for financial market participants.
You will also verify that application changes comply with business requirements and the highest standards of usability, working closely with developers on the automated and manual tests they use to confirm this. We are especially interested in hearing from applicants who can demonstrate both business acumen and academic ability (a university degree with at least a 2:1 pass in the UK, or a GPA of 3.0 in the US).
CLIENT AND SALES MANAGERS:
Our client and sales managers play a crucial role in increasing customer satisfaction and driving company revenue by delivering exceptional personal service to new and established clients. As a client or sales manager at TIM Group you will work closely with your colleagues to respond promptly and efficiently to customer requests and expressions of interest from prospective customers. You will learn how customers use the service to enable you to anticipate their ongoing needs, both short- and long-term.
You will introduce new system features, and will make sure that customers are aware of them and able to make full use of them. You will also play a central role in negotiating contract renewals and new sales. Our client and sales managers have a thorough understanding of our products and services, outstanding interpersonal skills, and an impressive record of academic achievement (a university degree with at least a 2:1 pass in the UK, or a GPA of 3.0 in the US).
