Richard Koppel
/ Managing DirectorRich has more than 20 years' experience in information technology development, implementation, consulting, and management. Prior to TIM Group, he consulted to senior management at McKinsey & Company. During his 10 years with McKinsey, Rich guided financial services clients on IT management issues, developed product and market strategies for leading IT providers, and helped lead the firm's computer industry practice.
Rich was also a management consultant at the Information Consulting Group and at Coopers & Lybrand, where he directed large development and implementation projects in the securities industry.
Rich received a BSc in physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MBA from New York University, and a Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of Rochester.

Colin Berthoud
/ Founding PartnerColin is a 20-year enterprise software development industry veteran. He co-founded Summit Financial Systems in 1994, the UK distributor for Summit, a US-based provider of derivatives software. Summit Financial Systems invested the capital it had accumulated in developing a new trading system product known as Tamesis.
Before co-founding Summit Financial Systems, Colin held senior sales, management and consulting roles at Logica, the leading UK systems integrator. When Logica became the UK distributor for Teknekron (now TIBCO) in the UK, Colin built the nascent business into one of Logica's largest and fastest growing business lines.
Colin gained a BA (Hons) from Oxford University in Politics, Philosophy and Economics.

Tim Murphy
/ General Manager, North AmericaTim is an entrepreneurial, independent thinker with a strong record of achievement in software management and sales in the finance sector. Tim has 20 years’ industry experience, including several general management roles. He launched and established SuperDerivatives in the Americas in 2005, building a sales and support team that achieved a six-fold revenue increase in two years.
Before SuperDerivatives he was General Manager for Misys Wholesale Banking Systems in the Americas, where he was responsible for a staff of 140 and annual revenues of $50 million. Earlier in his career he worked in sales and account management for Moneyline Telerate and Reuters Plc, and was an Infantry Officer in the Irish Defense Forces for eight years. Tim received a BA from the National University of Ireland in Galway and an MSM from the Boston University campus in Israel.

Jeremy Harris
/ General Manager, AsiaJeremy has extensive experience in the provision of financial information, analytics and trading services to the buy and sell sides. Before joining TIM Group he was Asia head for Trayport, the UK based provider of software enabling Inter Dealer Brokers and Exchanges to operate hybrid voice/electronic OTC or purely electronic commodities markets. Jeremy was first involved with alpha capture in 2004 when he established StreamVPN’s Hong Kong office.
Prior to this Jeremy helped ensure the early success of Credit Market Analysis, now part of the CME Group.
His financial markets expertise was developed over a 20 year career with Reuters in a succession of international territory and business line management positions in Asia, the Middle East and the United Kingdom. Jeremy is a keen recreational skier. He holds a Post-graduate Diploma in Law from the College of Law, Guildford and an Honours degree in History from the University of York.

Rob Bernstein
/ Finance DirectorRob has over 7 years’ of management experience delivering change and financial strength to fast growing organisations. Rob joined TIM Group from Isis Telecommunications where as Finance Director he oversaw rapid growth before and after a successful sale of the business to Vodafone in 2006.
Rob previously trained as a Chartered Accountant with BDO Stoy Hayward, one of the UK’s largest accountancy firms
