For the second year in a row, ‘Team TIM’ entered the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge – a charity running event hosted by J.P. Morgan.  On Thursday 11th July, 22 of our London staff headed down to Battersea Park to battle it out on the 3.5 mile course.

Inspired by the New York City Marathon, the J.P. Morgan Coporate Challenge first started in 1977 with 200 runners from 50 companies gathered in Central Park.  Since then it has expanded to 14 cities worldwide and over 250,000 entrants.  Each year a new charity is selected in each host city and in this year alone, J. P. Morgan Corporate Challenge will donate more than $700,000 USD to charities and organisations around the world.  TIM Group has contributed to this total with our 22 London entrants totalling over £500 ($750.00 USD) in donations to WaterAid UK – the London selected charity.

The race was enjoyed (and endured) by runners and supporters from TIM Group and we look forward to making the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge a regular annual event!
